This pyx depicts the Blessed Sacrament at its center with doves, beautiful symbols of The Holy Spirit, in flight around it. A soft white enamel accents the images. The pyx is made of brass, and in keeping with the standards of the Catholic Church, it has been finished in a 24-karat gold plate, thus ensuring that the consecrated Eucharist inside is surrounded by precious materials. The pyx is outfitted with a hinged lid with a durable metal clasp and a metal loop for a neck cord. It will be well-secured for the priest, deacon or extraordinary minister of Holy Communion who utilizes it. It measures two inches in diameter and has a 5/8 inch depth, accommodating up to six 1-3/8 inch hosts. This lovely pyx is made in Italy.
