Our Lord is represented by the Lamb of Peace on this pyx. The pyx is made of brass with a 24-karat gold-plate finish throughout, with the exception of the emblem, which is a nickel plate. The gold plate ensures that the Blessed Sacrament come in contact with pure, natural materials. The hinged lid fastens with a metal clasp which closes securely so that the priest, deacon or minister who is to share Holy Communion can carry it safely. Additionally, the pyx has a metal loop for a cord. This pyx measures two inches by 5/8 inches and will hold up to six hosts measuring 1-3/8 inches. Made in Italy.
