The figures in this nativity set are expertly carved from linden wood, in the fashion characteristic of the artisans of the Demetz of Italy, and then dressed in tailor-made clothing. The Holy Family, wise men and shepherds are all generously draped in fabric and embellished according to the role of the figure. Even the sheep are warmly clad in wool. Each nativity set is hand-carved from linden wood and clothed and accessorized with materials selected by the artists who make the set. Your set may vary from the image in the fabric used as well as slight variations in the color, shape and size of the figures themselves. This is a reflection of the unique nature of the set and does not affect the quality or beauty of the work.
This exquisite nativity set is available through the F.C. Ziegler Company in two sizes: thirty-two or forty-inch. You will also have a choice of a natural, stained or colored finish.
