Precious little is written about the childhood of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Much of what is written is proclaimed in the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary. Each chapter begins with "A Moment to Ponder" which introduces that vignette. The next section in the chapter, "Enter the Scripture" provides the corresponding biblical passage. The final section "In Search of..." provides encouragement on a particular virtue in order that you practice it in your life. The virtues include humility, patience, charity, reverence, courage and prudence.
Each chapter uses an image - included in an eight-page, full color insert - that allows you to practice visio divina, the ancient practice of praying wiht sacred art.
