This lovely pyx comes from Italy and features the IHS symbol on its lid. Three nails rest below the symbol. The pyx is constructed from brass with an interior lining fo 24-karat gold, thus insuring that its sacred contents come in contact with only precious materials. The generous proportions make this a good pyx for use by a priest, deacon of eucharistic minister. It will accommodate up to 55 host. The lid is completely removable; it pops off when pulled and remains secure by an extruded rim when the lid is replaced. The pyx is one inch deep and measures three inches in diamteter.
