The Liturgy of the Hours, also called the Divine Office, or the Work of God (Opus Dei) is available to you in its entirety in this four volume set.  It marks the hours of each day, sanctifying them with prayers.  A meditative dialogue on the mystery of Christ, using scripture and prayer, clergy pray it daily and the laity are encouraged to pray it as well.  The five Hours of the Divine Office include the Office of Readings, Morning Prayer, Daytime Prayer, Evening Prayer and Night Prayer.  Each of the canonical Hours includes selections from the Psalms that culminate in a scriptural proclamation.

This four-volume set contains all you will need.  Each volume addresses a period of the liturgical year: Advent and Christmas, Lent and Easter, Ordinary Time Weeks 1-17, and Ordinary Time Weeks 18-34.  The Saint Joseph Guide for the Liturgy of the Hours directs you to the correct prayers and pages.  (You will receive the guide for the current year.) Insert cards provide information and prayers and a Supplement notes new feasts and memorials.
