This Mass kit would make a thoghtful gift for a newly ordained priest. He can easily carry the Mass kit via the shoulder strap that is attached to the hand-crafted, black leather case. The interior of the case is lined in a gold brocade with straps and pouches neatly included that hold everything necessary to celebrate the Mass while outside of a church.
The chalice features a hammered base and the paten slides into a pocket sewn into the lid of the case. A pyx measuring 3-1/4 inches in diameter holds up to twenty-five 1-3/8 inch host or up to forty-five 1-1/8 inch host. The paten, chalice and pyx have a twenty-four karat gold plate finish. The altar consists of a gold finished base with a removable Crucifix; two candles are provided in a fabric sleeve. You will also find two embellished, three-ounce cruets for water and wine as well as an aspergium and oil stock. The kit is completed with a stole and embroidered altar linen.
