We encounter Paul in his last days. The apostle who went from the most infamous persecutor of Christians to Christ's most influential apostle awaits his execution. Luke, his friend and physician, risks his life to visit him in Rome. Under the watchful eye of Mauritius, Luke visits the elderly, broken man, and resolves to write a book. His work would become the basis for the Acts of the Apostles.
In addition to Luke's interviews with Paul, the movie depicts the lives of early Christians and non-Christians, offering a clarity that is at times painful, at times comforting to us centuries later as we see integrity of faith. Faithful to scripture, this movie is a must-see for all Christians.
