The Corpus of this cross rests in front of an oval Saint Benedict medal. The cross, made of solid wood has been accented with lines along its edges and rounded center. It is further embellished with carved scrollwork around the oval. The letters INRI are carved onto a scroll at the top, just under the embellishment that serves as a hook for hanging. The Saint Benedict medal is oval and contains all the features regularly found on the reverse. For example, the word "Peace" is included just above the cross. This Crucifix, one of our Italian imports measures eight inches.
