Saint Elizabeth of Hungary was a beautiful example of Christian Charity. Married at the age of fourteen and widowed by the age of twenty, she built a hospital where she served the sick. She is often portrayed with roses. On a trip to deliver bread to the poor, she was suspected of carrying stolen treasures. When she opened her robe, a vision of roses appeared. This small statue is made of resin and stands four inches tall.
