Hi, I’m Blessed Father Solanus Casey. I helped start the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit during the Great Depression. I was ordained a simple priest, which meant I couldn’t hear confessions or preach homilies. I did not let that keep me from doing great things! As the doorkeeper at the monastery, I greeted all the people who would come to ask for prayers. God granted many miracles when I prayed.
