Hardbound in red leather with sturdy, Smyth-sewn binding, it has guilded pages and hand-affixed tabs for the Canon. The Missale Romanum is adorned with beautiful, Belgian line-art. Text is printed on quality Finch paper with the exception of the Ordinary of the Mass, which is printed on extra thick 70-lb stock.
